Delete Your Account — Semantic Interlinear Bible

You can permanently delete your Semantic Interlinear Bible account at any time, directly from the app or the website. Deletion is immediate and complete — there is no waiting period, no email to send, and no one to convince.

What deletion does. Your account record and everything synced to it — highlights, notes, drawings, saved items, and study-chat conversations — are permanently deleted. Any active supporter subscription is cancelled immediately. This cannot be undone.

How to delete your account

The steps are the same in the mobile app and on silbible.com:

Tap the account icon in the top-right corner and sign in, if you aren't already.
In the account panel, choose Delete account.
Read the warning, enter your password to confirm, and tap Permanently delete my account.

Your account and synced content are deleted immediately. Anything still stored locally on your own device (offline downloads, or notes made while signed out) stays on your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the app or clearing the site's browser data.

Good to know

Subscriptions. An active supporter subscription is cancelled when the account is deleted, with no refund for the remainder of the period. If you subscribed through an app store rather than our site, also cancel it in that store's subscription settings so it doesn't renew.
Supporter display names. A donation's public display name isn't linked to an account. If you'd like one removed from the supporters list, email us.
Backups. Residual copies in short-lived backups expire on their own; see the Privacy Policy for retention details.

Can't sign in?

If you can't access your account (forgotten password, lost email access), contact us at support@silbible.com from the email address the account was created with, and we will verify and delete it for you.
